She sat there, not quite smiling, not quite frowning, but not quite in between either. Staring at him as he could see the little green nails on her toes.
“You did something to me.” She knew it, though she wasn’t sure exactly what. “I was here… to find something. Do something. Stop something. Now, I’m just sitting here.”
She frowned slightly as she tried to figure out what it was, her memories a rushing, pulsing haze, lost and uncertain as she started at him with intent, dark eyes. “What did you do?”
“Nothing you didn’t agree to.” He responded with a smile, a dark, full thing that mad her shiver suddenly as it stirred something deep down inside of her.
“I don’t believe you.” She stated reflexively, before frowning slightly right after the words slipped out. “I wasn’t supposed to say that aloud.”
“Oh, you can’t help but do that now.” He said with that same, dark, wicked little smile on his lips. “When you’re around me, you say exactly what you’re thinking.”
“I don’t like that.” She stated simply, giving him a mild glare now.
“Then, you shouldn’t have agreed to it.” He told her with a faint chuckle.
“I don’t remember ever agreeing to it.” She argued with a mild glare and a frown.
“So, because you don’t remember it, it didn’t happen?” He asked her contemplatively before smiling at her once more. “Sadly, because I do remember it, that invalidates your not remembering it.”
“How could I have made that kind of deal and not remembered it?” She snapped back and gave him a reproachful glare.
“Because you wanted something very much.” He responded. “So much, that you were willing to do anything, Offer me anything for it.” He stated with a faint smirk on his lips. “So, I gave you the price, and you agreed.”
“I wouldn’t have agreed to something that made me forget.” She insisted.
“You wanted to find something. I agreed to take you to it, in exchange for having your mind live out a life as my devoted, wanting, whimpering, quivering little toy. You added the addendum that I make you forget when it was over.”
He paused, before grinning ferally back at her. “So, I did.”
“I didn’t mean make me forget everything!” She snapped back, her lips curling down into a frown. “I wouldn’t have wanted to forget everything.”
“Then, you should’ve been more specific about it.” He stated simply, still grinning back at her in a way that made her want to press her thighs together from the heat leaking into them.
“I want my memories back.” She stated flatly, narrowing her eyes at him as she flashed her teeth angrily.
“What will you give me for them then?” He asked and he leaned back, eyes dancing merrily as he held up something that resembled a skirt. “It wouldn’t be good business for me to give you something for nothing after all.”
“They’re mine to begin with!” She stated insistently as she glared back at him.
“They were yours.” He countered back and calmly tossed the silken skirt away. “You discarded them, and they were such nice memories I decided to keep them all to myself.”
She paused, before taking a slow, deep breath to calm herself down and then she looked back at him. “What do you want?”
“Ah, my favorite word. Want.” He stated pausing a moment, before grinning at her. “I’ll give you your memories for… oh.. say… your shirt.”
“… My shirt.” She repeated, frowning slightly as she realized she was only wearing a shirt, and a set of black undergarments. “Why should I strip for you?”
“Because that’s what I want in exchange.” He shot back, grinning at her with dancing, mischievous eyes. “You do have such a nice body, I’d like to see more of it.”
“And if I say no?” She shot back.
“As you have nothing else that interests me, then you’ll be stuck without your memories, without any idea of where you are, where you should go, what you should do, what you even can do, who are your friends, who are your enemies, and oh, my dear, do you have enemies…” He chuckled softly at her again. “But, if that’s what you want, I’ll simply be off on my way.”
“Wait.” She stated with a great reluctance, biting down on her lip before slowly taking off her shirt and holding it up. “Deal.”
He smiled at her, in a way that sent a rushing wave of fear down her spine as he plucked the shirt from her fingers before she could say anything else, or change her mind, and in a voice of pulsing echoes agreed. “Deal.”
She remembered then, an old woman’s warning. “I will grant you this, woven into your skirt and blouse, these two threads. As long as you keep this, the only powers he will have over you are those you give him. Should you give them to him though… all hope you will have will be lost.”
Then it was devoured by another string of memories memories of a life of servitude, a life of slavery, a live of one string of burning, molten depravity and an undeniable, consuming pleasure that burned away all the memories she had just regained, until they were nothing but dirty little cinders forgotten beneath the mewling little creature she became.
“You did say your memories. And I even told you about the other ones. A shame you couldn’t bargain better.” He stated with a dark chuckle. “But, then again, that’s probably why you took the deal so quickly.”
She didn’t respond to him, not with words. Instead she just stared up at him as her legs collapsed until she was there, on her knees, pleading up with liquid, mewling whimpers of need. Begging.
“Well, who am I to deny what is so freely offered, hmm?”
oh my god
