Carrie isn’t a magician either. Her wand nothing more than a cheap black dowel, her grimoire an old dictionary. The hat is real enough, but there is no rabbit within.

Even if we don’t live in a world of magic, imagination is a powerful magic of its own. Together, we’ve spent countless hours building a lovely world inside Carrie. A world where everything is possible. A world full of wonder. A world of total trust in my words. And yes, a world where Carrie’s thoughts can go wherever I should choose to lead them.

In this world, she is a mighty enchantress, one consumed with taking thralls of her own. Carrie wants nothing more than to ensnare her prey in a web of pretty lights, powerful commands, and undeniable obedience. Just moments ago she commanded her subject to remove all clothing.

In our new world, the mighty magician has failed to see through my own glamour, her own magic turned against her. In Carrie’s world, she releases herself to be exactly what she wants to be.

My world? Just about perfect. Now if she would just find that spell that leaves the target blank…
