Per request for a student hypnotizing teacher story.
“Mike can I see you after class?” she said and I knew that I was in trouble.
Some of the other guys made a ‘whooo’ sound. The joke was that I was in love with the teacher. Really most of us were, even some of the girls. Young and fresh out of college she was definitely the cool professor. Everyone filed out of the lecture hall and she had me follow her to her office.
“This is ominous,” I said as she shut the door.
Miss Kendall sighed, “Look I want you to know you failed the last essay, and you’re going to fail the class.”
I blinked, “I worked really hard on it.”
“Okay, but that doesn’t really matter. You worked hard on an essay about Kaa the snake from the Jungle Book. A book we didn’t even read in the class,” she said, “and you didn’t even try to tie it in. In fact I think you just watched the Disney animated film and didn’t even read the book. Had you maybe compared the character of Mowgli to say Conrad in A Heart of Darkness, then at least you’d have shown that you’d read one of the books.”
I nod sheepishly. To be honest I hadn’t even started the essay until the morning it was due, and figuring that the Jungle Book was probably a good example of British Colonial Literature I’d quickly typed something up to hand in figuring at least the effort would get me a D+ and a pass. Being a new teacher she’d never had to fail anyone before and I figured she’d want to avoid it.
“I mean the last half of the essay is just the phrase ‘his eyes hypnotize all who gaze into them’ again and again,” she said opening the essay and pointing at one of the offending pages.
I nod again, not sure what to say.
“I mean what does that even mean?” she asked, looking at my face for an explanation. Clearly baffled.
“It means that Kaa’s eyes when you look into them hypnotize you. His eyes hypnotize all who gaze into them,” I said helpfully, “Do you remember that scene from the movie, where Kaa’s eyes spin around and hypnotize anyone who looks into them?“
“I do,” she said, “I loved that movie growing up. I watched it at least once a week.”
“So you know that his eyes hypnotize all who gaze into them,” I said.
“His eyes hypnotize all that gaze into them,” she repeated.
That was surprising. Also the intent way that she was looking at me, into my eyes. I didn’t want to look away, because I knew that I’d end up looking at her chest which would get me into even more trouble, so I kept looking.
“So you know when anyone looks into his eyes they become hypnotized,” I said explaining the minor plot point of the old animated movie.
“They become hypnotized,” she said, “I remember. His eyes… made me feel warm.”
Shit what was that about? Wait, was she… I’d written about Kaa because the only thing I remembered about British literature was the hypnosis snake from the cartoon movie. Because most of my time had been spent jerking off to hypnosis porn. I knew that Kaa was a big gateway drug for people into erotic hypnosis. Their minds associated him with hypnosis and…
Shit. Shit. Shit. I just got hard as my mind suddenly put two and two together and finally got four.
“Warm and relaxed, knowing looking deep into his eyes hypnotize anyone. His eyes hypnotize all that gaze into them,” I said.
She repeated the dumb phrase from my essay, but her voice was quiet now, distant. Her eyes had started to lose focus. “You remember his eyes, hypnotizing you. You always wanted to look deep into someone’s eyes and become hypnotized.”
“Become hypnotized,” she said.
Inside my head I started a parade. Outwardly I kept eye contact and pressed on.
“And what happens when you gaze into my eyes and become hypnotized now?” I asked, probing to see what she expected.
“I become your slave.”
A national day of celebration was declared inside my head, and in my boner. Statues were erected. The mayor gave me a gold key.
“My hypnotized slave, you always wanted to obey, since you were a little girl. Now sleep and obey,” I said snapping my fingers. Her eyes fluttered shut and she sank backwards into her office chair.
I’ve made sure to schedule all of my possible courses with Miss Kendall, or rather Slave Heather as she likes to be called. All I ever need to hand in for my essay or on my exams with her is the phrase ‘his eyes hypnotize all that gaze into them’. She gives me an A+ on every assignment, and tutors me long and hard every night in her small apartment.
And I know some of you out there grew up watching the Jungle Book as little girls. Watching Kaa’s eyes. I know you just want to come to me and hear me tell you that his eyes hypnotize all that gaze into them.
Because it’s a much more interesting story than anything you’ll study in college.
