I don’t think i do, we had a computer for as long as I can remember.
I remember a time before the internet was widespread, but not a time before computers. I’m not sure I was alive before the internet existed, but I know I was alive before everyone had access to it.
It’s a little difficult to say when the Internet started existing; the things we think of as “internet” emerged over a couple decades.
The first “network of networks”–a network that linked multiple local computer networks across long distances–was ARPANET, which started in 1969.
The first ISP started in 1989. That’s also the year the term “World Wide Web” was coined–the idea that you could and would link all the computer networks into one giant network of networks spanning the globe.
The first web browser was released in 1991.
You could really point to any of those as the beginning of the Internet.
